Indian Premier League, IPL or DLF IPL, whatever one says, is one of the most popular sayings in India and in many other countries where cricket is played. After the magic of twenty20 cricket spread all around the world and Indian Cricket Team won the twenty20 world cup in 2007, IPL was created by the BCCI and chaired by the Chairman & Commissioner IPL, BCCI Vice President Lalit Modi. After it IPL got the love of viewers and became the light of the hearts of the Indians.

There are 59 matches going to be played in only 34 days from April 18,2009 to May 21,2009. The matches will be played in South Africa's grounds and will be telecast in India on Set Max. The names of the eight franchises are Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Hyderabad Deccan Chargers, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals. The first match will be played on April 18,2009 between Rajesthan Royals and Royal Challengers.

The Team Composition Rules

Minimum squad strength of 16 players plus one physio and a coach.
No more than 8 foreign players in the squad and at most 4 in the playing XI.For the 2009 edition franchises are allowed 10 foreign players in the squad. The number allowed in theplaying XI remains unchanged at 4.
A minimum of 8 local players must be included in each team.
A minimum of 2 players from the BCCI under-22 pool in each team.

My First Tour 4

After this, then we started for the most imporant place, Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is a beautiful place for a tour, really. In the first one hour, we stayed at footpath. Ya, footpath. While my dad and bhaiyaji was searching for a room in a hotel, I, deedi and mom was waiting for them on footpath with our luggage (8 bags+ 1 mini bag). I was very curious to see the sea. I was at a stone's throw from the sea. We were very tired after the long way journey from B'lore to Kanyakumari. And now, a stay on footpath.

Yukkkk....

Then my father took us to the S.B.I.'s guesthouse. It was a bad guesthouse, really bad. But it was the only way. After it we came to know that we have missed today's sunset. Anyways, we had a chance to see it again next day. Then we went to find a better place to stay. And we find it, a beautiful hotel. At that time, it was under construction. Then we have the rest. In the morning, at 4.30 am, we went to see the sunrise. But this time, I don't miss it. It was really beautiful. Redness of the sun before the weather cleared and then slowly slowly, the sun is out of the water. Really beautiful. There was a great rush. Then I see the big beach of Kanyakumari with my brother. After it, I went to the hotel and slept for hours again.

Then we went to see Vivekananda Rock Memorial. It was beautiful too. (I think everything was beautiful...) But we went to V.R.M. by a ferry for which we waited for 1 hour in Q.
But it was beautiful.

In the evening, we started for the sunset point. We were walking fast, but where the sunset point was. It was far away from the hotel. We took speed and started to run faster. My pitaji and maataji were coming slowly. The time was low and the way was...

No idea.

I didn't want to miss the sunset again. I, bhaiya and Anusha were walking fast. Then my father hired a auto and took us to the sunset point.

Then again we went to the hotel. The next morning we went to see the sea and wax museum. Bhaiya stayed in the hotel. I, family and deedi with family went to see the sea. There I took some photos.

Then we returned to B'lore and there moj masti.

After 5 days we returned to Najibabad by train. Thain left us to Delhi and there the car was ready. We put our luggage into the car and then Najibabad.

And now I am living this old school life and writing this blog...

My First Tour 3

"Today is 13th na bhaiya?"

"ya."

Next day, we were going to Madurai. The next day came. We went to railway station in the evening. We saw our train.

But what was that?

There was no S2 compartment.
Then my jeejaji went to T.T. He told that the S2 compartment was coming. We got into the train. I slept for 4 hours. And after 2 hours from it, we reached Madurai.

On the platform, a man said something to jeejaji who agreed to his proposal. Then he took us to the guesthouse of forest department. My jeejaji is in the forest department. The room was really beautiful. It was a big room. The interesting thing was that their room + bathroom was larger than my home. Now we were hungry so we went to eat food. I ate Dosa, Sambar and a little bit of Pongal. The Dosa was looking tasty and it was too.

Anyways, we went to Meenakshi temple, the famous temple of Madurai.

After seeing this beautiful temple, we came home. It was night time when I was in the bed. Suddenly I heard a sound.

It seemed that...
I can't explain...

I was afraid a little bit. But I slept thinking that the watchman was eating food. Then in the morning, I came to know that the sound was because of the plastic curtains.

Then my papa and jeejaji booked a AC car to go to Kodaikanal.

In the way to Kodaikanal, We bought some frooti. In the way we saw Dum Dum Falls. You can see the Dum Dum Falls in the photo.

After it, we went to a small a fall. You can also see that fall in the photo.

We reached Kodaikanal. There we went to a flower garden. It was full of beautiful flowers.

And then we went for boating. But it was our bad luck that we didn't boat due to time constraints.

Then we returned to Madurai. We were very tired after this.

BANGLORE AND VELLORE IN INDIA

Jeejaji took us to the home. When I was going to meet Deedi, I saw a wonderful thing.

What was that?

A bed...

I saw a bed. The bed was looking great because It wanted to sleep. After the whole night 'Jagran' I was going to sleep. And I slept too.

My brother had come to B'lore from Vellore. He was completing his B.Tech. those days. Now he is perfect Engineer.

I went to Forum, the largest market of B'lore। There I saw Landmark. And ya ya there I bought digi cam. After one day we went to Tirupati Balaji on a package tour. There we stopped for 1 day.

There were 2 Q's. The first Q ate our 1.5 hours. Anyways 1.5 hours is not a big thing. But the second one was the worst. It ate our...

I don't think you can.

It took our 4.5 hours. Someone have given it a true name 'kyon?'

After this 'kyon', we went to Vellore. The college was too big.The hostel consists of 10 building. There are the shops of books, shirts n etc.etc...
There are two canteens. In 1 canteen, 200 people can eat at a time. And there is a mart too where students can get the things they want.

I bought 3 shirts...Bhagwan ki kripa se woh meri naap ki nahin niklin... so sad na...

Then we came to B'lore again. Then we slept again...

Our second program was to go to the city named Madurai.

Exams...

Such a boring thing. Yes, this year in my exams,when I was in a huge tension, I came to know that I am going to Bangalore for a tour.

"Yo!"

"How interesting,We are going to Bangalore."

This was true. I was going for a tour after my exams. I was waiting, when my exams will finish, when I will go to Bangalore and when I will meet Seema Deedi and Anusha.

"Today is my last exam, mom."I said to my mom. But due to some reasons, my exam had postponed. It was really a shock for me. But my tour was going start at 10 of the next month(10 days later).That day was a 'Pakaoo day' because this was the easiest exam for me... 'Maths' ... Anyhow I passed that day. Now I was completely free. I waiting for my tour.

Yes, I passed 9 days again. Just 1 day to go. We packed our luggage. Alto was waiting for us. I left Najibabad, my hometown. In the way I slept and slept!!! Do you think I sleep??? No, I did not sleep. It was too exciting for me and my mother because I was going to fly in the high sky. I was going to travel in the aeroplane.

We reached Delhi. On the airport I met my first expense I bought Sprite for 45 rupees. And drank it. I was not going to get 330ml. I wanted to drink only a Frooti which was not available there because I was a little bit thirsty. But I drank it for its 45 rupees.

We were going to get our bus yo go to the aeroplane. Everything was new for me. There i saw a lot of aeroplanes. This was a sight beyond my dreams. Aeroplanes and Aeroplanes everywhere. It was new for me and my mom. My father had travelled one time before it by aeroplane. Air Deccan's aeroplanes were the largest. The others were smaller. Our bus took us to the aeroplane. I climbed up the ladders, found my seat and sat on it. I couldn't say I was flying. In fact, my aeroplane was really not flying still now.Then after 5 or 10 minutes later, the aeroplane began to run on the runway.Suddenly I found it in the sky. And Delhi was looking like a heap of dust on which the small Chinese lights were pointed here and there. Our flight was the first one on the flight list for that day. The time was 4.45 am.After about half an hour,the sun rose up. The interesting thing was that the sun was rising into the clouds. Our flight was over the clouds. Some time later, it was into the clouds.

"Now, the time is 6.35 am."

Yes, it was the arrival time. We reached Bangalore. Then, I saw an aeroplane of British Airways. It was the largest of all, I had seen at that day.

Anyways It was Bangalore and I was waiting for my luggage.
This was the amazing start of my tour.
